The Rotary Ride for Rescue is Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Cypress Mountain.
The race starts at the junction of Cypress Bowl Road and Cypress Lane. Road Riders and E-Bike Riders gain 900 m in elevation over the distance of 14 KM, finishing at the Nordic Area (Cross Country) area of Cypress Mountain.
Mountain Bike Riders follow a different course.
This is my fourth year participating in this race.

Register.
Registration is now open for road and mountain cyclists (including E-bikes).
Sign up as an individual, create a team or join an already existing team. The registration fee is $60, which covers expenses including riders’ insurance and the bike valet service. Please note that, starting in 2025 and moving forward, a two-step registration process for riders will be implemented.
Cyclists under 13 years of age must ride with a parent, guardian or coach
Online registration will close at 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 12th, 2025.
After completing the first registration, you will be REQUIRED to agree to the insurance waiver here.

Road Bike Course
Great prizes will be awarded to the individuals and teams that raise the most pledges. There will also be prizes for participants with the fastest times. Past prizes have included helicopter rides, hotel stays in Whistler, and luxury dining experiences.
Tax receipts are issued for pledges of $30 or more.
Post-ride celebration
British Pacific Properties for a post-ride celebration at the awe-inspiring Cypress Pop-Up Village.
After reaching the finish line in the Nordic area, enjoy a coffee and warm up before heading down* to the Cypress Pop-Up Village for a free pancake and sausage breakfast.
Invite your family and friends for the prize announcements, complimentary food and beverages, and to celebrate your accomplishment with you and fellow riders.
*A complimentary shuttle from the Nordic Area finish line to the Pop-Up Village will be available. When registering, please let us know if you think you will use these services.
Location Details
Cypress Pop-Up Village is located at McGavin Field (located between Mulgrave School and Cypress Lookout). If you decide to leave your car at Mulgrave School, it's a speedy 5-minute ride back to your car after the event.
A bike valet service will be available at the pop-up village starting at 10:00 am on the event day.
