Ekiti State University (EKSU) has taken a significant step toward advancing technology-driven education with the commissioning of a ₦1 billion AI-driven ICT Experience Centre, valued at approximately $728,000. The new facility reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening digital learning infrastructure and equipping students with the skills required in an increasingly technology-focused world.

Located on the university campus, the ICT Experience Centre is designed to support ICT-enabled learning, digital innovation, and hands-on technology training for students and academic staff across various disciplines. The initiative aligns with broader efforts to modernize academic delivery and ensure that teaching and learning remain relevant in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

According to university authorities, the centre forms part of ongoing investments aimed at enhancing educational quality through technology. By providing access to modern computing resources and digital tools, the facility is expected to create new opportunities for academic engagement, research, innovation, and practical skills development.
