Vancouver's BrandLIVE Management Group, the award-winning event production company behind the city's beloved Honda Celebration of Light fireworks and Canada Day festivities, has been selected to orchestrate the $20 million FIFA Fan Festival at Hastings Park during the 2026 World Cup.

Founded in 2008, BrandLIVE has built its reputation on creating extraordinary shared experiences, from music festivals to civic celebrations. Their portfolio includes organizing the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Fan Festival, making them uniquely positioned for this ambitious six-week undertaking.

The Vancouver FIFA Fan Festival will run from June 11 to July 29, 2026, transforming the PNE fairgrounds into an immersive soccer experience. The centerpiece will be the newly constructed Freedom Mobile Arch amphitheatre, a stunning mass-timber venue with capacity for 10,000 spectators. This state-of-the-art facility will provide the perfect backdrop for live broadcasts of all tournament matches across its giant screens.

BrandLIVE's approach aligns with their core mission to foster human connections through unforgettable experiences. The festival will operate on nearly all 39 tournament days, offering free admission to the general public and expecting approximately 15,000 visitors daily. Soccer fans will gather to watch matches in real-time, creating the electric atmosphere that makes international tournaments unforgettable.

Beyond live streaming, BrandLIVE will curate diverse programming including live entertainment, cultural showcases, food and beverage activations, and sponsor experiences. Their partnership with Vancouver-based experiential marketing firm Inventa brings decades of expertise in creating interactive brand campaigns and major event activations.

As a Tourism Vancouver member, BrandLIVE is part of a 1,000-member network dedicated to marketing Metro Vancouver as a premier destination. This connection positions them perfectly to showcase the city to international visitors, encouraging longer stays and return visits long after the final whistle blows.

The company's commitment to sustainability will be crucial, as they hold Climate Smart certification and have pioneered green event operations through their Green Effect Consultancy. This expertise will help minimize the environmental impact of hosting hundreds of thousands of visitors over six weeks.

The scale of the 2026 summer season has prompted BrandLIVE to begn to expand their team significantly. They're actively recruiting experienced event contractors for key positions including Group Sales Manager, Hosting Manager, Transport Manager, Artist Hospitality Talent Manager, Accreditation Manager, and Site Managers to support not only the FIFA Fan Festival but also their other iconic Vancouver events.

With their proven track record managing large-scale public events and their values centred on connection, sustainability, and integrity, BrandLIVE is poised to deliver a world-class FIFA Fan Festival that showcases Vancouver's vibrant spirit to the global soccer community.
