Machine Learning Takes Center Stage in February
The 7th International Conference on Machine Learning and Soft Computing (MLSC 2026) will kick off the tech event season on February 27-28 at a downtown Vancouver venue. This academic-focused conference attracts researchers, practitioners, and innovators from around the globe who are advancing the theory and applications of machine learning and computational intelligence.
The conference provides a premier international forum for presenting breakthroughs in learning algorithms, intelligent optimization, and computational intelligence. Proceedings will be published by Computer Science Conference Proceedings in Computer Science & Information Technology series, with selected papers potentially appearing in the Machine Learning and Applications: An International Journal.

The crown jewel of Vancouver's tech event calendar, Web Summit Vancouver 2026, will take place May 11-14 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. After a successful inaugural year, the event is returning to bring one of the world's largest technology conferences to Canada's west coast.
Web Summit Vancouver is expected to attract over 15,000 attendees including entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and media from around the globe. The four-day conference brings together tech's leading companies, world-class speakers, and international innovators for networking, learning, and deal-making opportunities.
