Here’s how to beat the bloat and bring your A-game all summer long:
🥒 Hydrate before you caffeinate. Start your day with warm lemon water or cucumber-mint infused water to jumpstart digestion and rehydrate cells.
🍉 Eat high-water foods. Think watermelon, cucumber, fennel, pineapple, berries, and leafy greens — all of which reduce fluid retention and cool inflammation.
🥗 Pair smart. Avoid mixing heavy starches with proteins. Instead, try lean protein + greens, or fruit + seeds for easier digestion.
🧂 Use sea salt intentionally. A pinch helps your body absorb water without holding on to it — unlike processed table salt.
🫖 Sip digestive teas. Ginger, peppermint, chamomile, and dandelion tea reduce gas, ease bloating, and calm your nervous system. You can even add ice to these teas for a more refreshing drink.
