Vancouver motorsport fans have something to get excited about this fall, as the 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship roars back into BC Place on November 15th. The iconic downtown venue will once again transform into a dirt-filled arena of high-octane racing, marking Vancouver's return as a key stop on the championship's ambitious five-continent tour.

This year's event represents the third round of what promises to be the most globally expansive supercross season to date. The championship is making history by spanning five continents for the first time, with Vancouver serving as the North American anchor point in a calendar that stretches from Malaysia to South Africa.

"Building on the momentum of last year's World Supercross Championship season opener, we're excited to welcome the championship and its global fanbase back to BC Place," said Chris May, General Manager of BC Place. The venue's reputation for delivering electrifying atmosphere makes it a natural fit for the high-energy spectacle that supercross represents.

The 2025 season showcases World Supercross's commitment to truly global expansion. The championship kicks off October 18th in Kuala Lumpur, marking the sport's debut in Malaysia, before heading to Buenos Aires on November 8th. After the Vancouver stop, riders will battle it out on Australia's Gold Coast on November 29th, with the season culminating in a historic first-ever African round in Cape Town on December 13th.

Vancouver's place in this international lineup highlights the city's growing importance in the global motorsport calendar. The BC Place event promises the same explosive energy that made previous rounds memorable, with world-class riders competing for championship points in both 450cc and 250cc classes.

Defending champions Eli Tomac (450cc) and Shane McElrath (250cc) will face fresh competition as new rivalries emerge throughout the season. The championship format ensures that every race matters, making the Vancouver round crucial for title contenders.

World Supercross has also unveiled a bold new visual identity for 2025, featuring a globe-inspired logo that reflects the international scope of the series. This rebranding emphasizes the championship's evolution into a truly worldwide spectacle.

For Vancouver fans, November 15th represents more than just another sporting event—it's a chance to witness world-class supercross racing in one of Canada's premier venues. With presale tickets already available through the championship's official website, early bird fans can secure their spots for what promises to be an unforgettable night of racing at BC Place.
