The Valley GranFondo is set to return to Langley, British Columbia, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, offering cyclists of all levels a chance to experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Fraser Valley. With four distinct ride options—20km, 50km, 85km, and 120km—this event caters to everyone from families and beginners to seasoned riders seeking a challenging start to the GranFondo season.

Ride Options for Every Cyclist

Starting and finishing at Eagle Acres Dairy Farm in Fort Langley, the Valley GranFondo features four thoughtfully designed routes:

  • 120km GranFondo: The most demanding route, featuring rolling hills and steady climbs through the Fraser Valley's diverse terrain.
  • 85km MedioFondo: A scenic journey through Langley and Abbotsford, offering a balance of challenge and reward.
  • 50km PrestoFondo: An ideal choice for newcomers, this route presents manageable hills and picturesque views.
  • 20km FamilyFondo: A relaxed, flat ride around Fort Langley, perfect for families and those new to cycling.

Each ride is fully supported with aid stations, medical and mechanical assistance, and a professionally managed course. Please note that the FamilyFondo route does not include aid stations.

Post-Ride Festival at Eagle Acres

After crossing the finish line, participants and spectators can enjoy a vibrant festival at Eagle Acres Dairy Farm. The celebration includes live music, a complimentary post-ride meal and beverage, games, massages, and even farm animals. It's a perfect way to unwind and share the day's experiences with fellow cyclists and supporters.

Team Challenge & Community Spirit

The Valley GranFondo encourages community engagement through its Team Challenge. Teams of five or more can register across any distance, fostering camaraderie and collective achievement. While the event isn't a race, teams can showcase their spirit with matching outfits, creative names, or team cheers, with awards recognizing these community efforts.
