Vancouver's beloved 91-year tradition continues with a stunning Langley residence featuring cutting-edge home automation

The Pacific National Exhibition kicks off its 115th year of fun starting Saturday, August 16, bringing with it one of Vancouver's most anticipated summer traditions: the legendary PNE Prize Home Lottery. This year's grand prize is a breathtaking $2.5-million home in Langley, BC, designed by Brown & Co. and furnished by Yaletown Interiors.

A Modern Marvel of Smart Home Technology

The 2025 PNE Prize Home, built by Miracon Development, showcases 3,292 square feet of crafted living spaces over three levels, including 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a library, whisky tasting room, and a legal 2-bedroom basement suite. What sets this year's home apart is its impressive array of smart technology features.

The home is powered by clean electricity and features technology from Samsung, plus a Husqvarna yard care package and an electric vehicle charger in the two-car garage. The residence represents the latest in energy-efficient living, supported by BC Hydro, demonstrating how modern homes can integrate sustainability with luxury.

A Legacy of Life-Changing Prizes

Now in its 91st year, the PNE Prize Home Lottery is more than just a draw — it's a deeply rooted tradition and is the oldest prize house lottery in North America. While specific past winners' names aren't publicly disclosed for privacy reasons, the lottery has been transforming lives for nearly a century, making dreams of homeownership a reality for countless British Columbians.

How to Participate

Tickets for the 2025 PNE Prize Home Lottery can be purchased through the official lottery website at tickets.pnelottery.ca. The lottery offers not just the grand prize home, but also includes vehicles, cash prizes, and bonus draws throughout the event.

All prize draws (except bonus draws) will be held on September 8, 2025, with the Grand Prize home draw taking place live on Global News Hour at 6:00 PM.

What's New at the 2025 PNE

This year's PNE promises exciting new attractions alongside traditional favourites. Located at 19619 76B Avenue in Langley's Willoughby neighbourhood, right on the border of Surrey in the growing Latimer Heights community, the prize home offers visitors a glimpse into the future of residential living during the fair's run.

The PNE continues to evolve while maintaining its status as BC's premier summer fair, offering diverse events and experiences across Playland, the Pacific Coliseum, PNE Forum, PNE Agrodome, and PNE Amphitheatre.
