At just 18 years old, Mike Vahdat moved to the U.S. from Iran, earned dual engineering degrees, and rose through the corporate ranks. But something was missing.
In 1999, he took a leap, launching a construction company that built over 300 homes. Then the 2008 crash hit.
“We had $13 million in inventory we had to sell for pennies,” Mike recalls. That loss could’ve ended the story. Instead, it became the turning point.
He pivoted to remodeling, where every project became personal, creative, and high-trust. Today, Mike leads Ambiance Atlanta, one of Georgia’s top design-build firms, managing 50–60 remodels annually with a sharp eye on $15M growth.
