One year after acquiring a 50 percent stake in , founder has turned a struggling sixth-division side into a symbol of ambition and innovation in Kenyan football. His “Road to the Kenyan Premier League” series has not only documented the journey but also fueled the club’s revival through global attention and new revenue streams.

Following open trials that drew over 300 players and significant investment in infrastructure, staffing, and player welfare, the club reached a financial breakthrough in late 2025. December profits peaked at $7,369, driven by content monetization, jersey sales, and fan donations. However, fluctuating digital visibility soon impacted earnings, with profits declining to $5,173 in January and falling to a loss of $1,426 in February.

March marked a turning point as the club responded with cost-cutting measures while maintaining operational standards. Expenses included clubhouse rent, food, live stream production, equipment upgrades, and scouting missions, including outreach to Kakuma refugee camp. Despite financial pressures, the club continued to invest in both its men’s and women’s teams, reinforcing its long-term vision.

“The club reached profitability for the first time in its history.”
“In a matter of weeks, we went from near bankruptcy to generating tens of thousands in revenue.”
“We knew that spending had to be reduced quickly if we wanted to return to profitability.”
