Camp Beer Co., nestled in the heart of Langley, British Columbia, is more than just a brewery—it's a vibrant community hub that brings together craft beer enthusiasts, families, and dog lovers alike. Established in December 2019 by local homebrewers Kevin Larsen and Dave Henry, along with commercial leasing expert Jamie Schreder, Camp Beer Co. was born from a shared passion for quality beer and a desire to create a welcoming space that embodies the spirit of the great outdoors.

A Journey from Homebrewing to Community Gathering

The roots of Camp Beer Co. trace back to the Full Barrel Homebrew Club, where Larsen and Henry honed their brewing skills and built a community of like-minded individuals. Their vision was clear: to establish a brewery that not only served exceptional beer but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and adventure. With Schreder's expertise, they transformed an old bingo hall into a rustic yet modern brewery, complete with a spacious patio that has become a local favorite.

Embracing the Outdoors, One Pint at a Time

Camp Beer Co. stands out with its oversized, dog-friendly patio, featuring communal tables, fire pits, and live music sessions in the "Camphitheatre." The interior continues the outdoor theme with canoe-hung ceilings and cozy spaces like "The Cabin" and "The Woods," offering guests a unique and inviting atmosphere.

Crafting Beers with Character

The brewery offers a diverse range of beers, focusing on lower-alcohol options that don't compromise on flavor. Signature brews include the crisp Camp Lager, the hop-forward Anorak IPA, and the refreshing Upstream Pale Ale. Seasonal favorites like the S'Mores Milk Stout, served with a toasted marshmallow, showcase the brewery's creativity and commitment to quality.

Culinary Delights from the Camp Cookhouse

Complementing their beer selection, Camp Beer Co.'s kitchen serves up a menu inspired by campfire classics. Guests can enjoy dishes like the West Coast Chicken Club, Jalapeño Popper Potato Salad, and the indulgent Oreo Ice Cream Cake. Their "Ultimate Camp Lunch Special" offers a satisfying midday meal, pairing any sandwich with a 16oz Camp Beer, Seltzer, or Soda.

Recognized Excellence in the Craft Beer Scene

Camp Beer Co.'s dedication to providing an exceptional brewery experience hasn't gone unnoticed. In 2022, they were honored with the BC Ale Trail’s Best Brewery Experience Award, a testament to their outstanding beer, welcoming environment, and community engagement.
