“Legacy Isn’t Just Remembered—It’s Collected.”

For fans across the galaxy, May the Fourth is more than a play on words—it’s a call to unite under the banner of shared stories, beloved franchises, and timeless collectibles. And no one answers that call more passionately than Michael Havens, the visionary founder of the Imperial Commissary Collectors Convention (ICCC).

What started as a collector’s dream in 2018 has grown into one of the world’s most authentic fan-led sci-fi events. Michael, a lifelong devotee of Star Wars and vintage toys, didn’t just want a convention—he wanted to build a legacy. With ICCC, he created a home for the global community of fans, one where kids and adults alike can shake hands with childhood heroes, swap stories, and find that one rare figure that made them believe in magic again.

But he’s not stopping there. Michael’s newest mission? He founded a nonprofit with the purpose of establishing a permanent museum dedicated to sci-fi collectibles—a sanctuary that honors the power of imagination and the generations shaped by these pop culture treasures.

From May 16–18, ICCC returns to Nashville, promising the most heart-pounding installment yet, complete with celebrity guests, lightsaber training, and moments that families will remember for a lifetime. Michael Havens doesn’t just run a convention—he leads a movement of memory, wonder, and connection.

This May the Fourth, we honor a fan who became a founder, and a collector who’s preserving the very stories that made us believe we could fly through galaxies far, far away.
