Dutch deep-tech innovator LiveDrop has launched a cutting-edge software-based data diode at the RSA Conference in San Francisco, bringing top-tier cybersecurity to businesses of all sizes—without the cost of expensive hardware.
Traditionally used in high-security environments like government, military, and energy infrastructure, data diodes enforce unidirectional data flow, blocking cyber threats by preventing any back-channel access. Until now, these systems required physical hardware, limiting access due to high costs and complex deployment.
LiveDrop’s breakthrough replaces this with a lightweight software solution that mimics the security of hardware diodes while eliminating installation hassles. “We’re offering the same level of protection that elite institutions use, now accessible to any business or developer,” says CEO Patrick Moreu.
Available in Q2 2025, LiveDrop’s solution includes:
- A Windows software suite
- Mobile apps for iOS and Android
- An SDK for seamless integration into third-party tools
Already validated in critical sectors like healthcare and defense, LiveDrop’s innovation is designed for IT teams, cybersecurity firms, and organizations needing robust data protection—especially those handling sensitive or regulated information.
LiveDrop is exhibiting at booth 954 in the Dutch Pavilion at RSA.
