ChatGPT, OpenAI’s conversational AI, is now integrated with Make.com—formerly known as Integromat—enabling users to automate workflows and build custom solutions without writing code. This collaboration allows businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals to combine ChatGPT’s natural language processing with Make.com’s visual automation platform, making it easier to streamline tasks and enhance productivity.

Make.com is a no-code automation tool that connects hundreds of apps and services, letting users design custom workflows through a drag-and-drop interface. By integrating OpenAI’s GPT models via API, users can add advanced AI capabilities to their automations. For example, workflows can be set up to automatically generate responses to customer inquiries, summarize sales calls, or turn blog content into social media posts—all without manual intervention.

To get started, users sign up for a Make.com account and connect it to their OpenAI account using an API key. OpenAI provides $5 in free tokens for new users, which are valid for three months. After that, usage is billed based on API consumption.

No ChatGPT Plus subscription is required—only API access and credits. Users can build workflows from scratch or use pre-made templates, selecting triggers (such as a new email or form submission) and actions (such as generating a response with ChatGPT). This process enables automation of tasks like content creation, customer support, and data analysis.

The integration is especially valuable for users without programming experience, as Make.com’s visual builder handles the technical details. By leveraging ChatGPT within Make.com, organizations can automate repetitive processes, improve communication, and unlock new efficiencies. For instance, marketing teams can automate the creation of personalized emails, while support teams can route and respond to customer tickets more effectively.

While the integration offers significant benefits, it’s important to note that complex workflows may require more advanced configuration, and ongoing API usage incurs costs once free credits are exhausted.

Overall, the combination of ChatGPT and Make.com represents a major step forward in accessible, AI-powered automation—empowering users of all backgrounds to innovate and streamline their operations.
