Most people set goals the wrong way.
They start with intention—“I want to grow my business,” “I want more clients,” “I want to be happier.” But intention alone doesn’t produce results. It creates direction, not movement.
Movement comes from structure.
Once you’ve defined what you want from your 90 days, the next step is to reverse engineer it. Not loosely. Precisely.
Start at the end.
Ask yourself: What would success look like if I achieved it? Not emotionally, but visibly. What would a neutral observer see that proves the result happened?
That is your real goal.
From there, you work backward.
What must be true by the end of month two to make month three possible?
What needs to happen in month one to support that?
What actions must take place each week?
This process turns vague ambition into a clear pathway.
It also reveals something most people avoid: the actual work required.
That’s where systems come in.
A goal without a system relies on willpower. A goal with a system creates momentum. When your actions are mapped into weekly and daily structures, you reduce decision fatigue. You no longer ask, “What should I do today?” You already know.
