Part 1 - Are you measuring the right things?

Every January, millions of people take inventory of their lives.
We ask ourselves familiar questions. Am I successful? Am I making progress? Am I where I thought I'd be by now?
The challenge isn't that we ask these questions. It's that many of us have never decided how we're going to answer them.
Too often, we measure our lives using someone else's scoreboard. We compare our careers, our income, our homes, or our achievements, hoping they'll tell us whether we're winning. But external comparisons rarely produce internal confidence.
Real success deserves better measuring sticks.
One of the healthiest ways to evaluate your life is to look beyond what you've accumulated and focus on who you're becoming.
Start with your own growth. Have you developed new skills? Expanded your thinking? Invested in yourself through books, mentors, courses, or meaningful experiences? Growth isn't about becoming someone different—it's about becoming more fully yourself.
Next, consider your relationships. Success isn't measured by the number of contacts in your phone. It's measured by the quality of the people walking beside you. Are your relationships built on trust, encouragement, and mutual growth? Do they leave you stronger than they found you?
Then ask yourself about your time.
Do you control your schedule, or does your schedule control you? Are you intentionally spending your days on work and people that matter, or simply reacting to whatever demands your attention next?
Finally, think beyond today.

What impact are you having on the people around you? Long after titles fade and accomplishments are forgotten, your influence remains. Legacy isn't something you leave at the end of life. It's something you build through the choices you make every day.
Success isn't simply about reaching another milestone.
It's about becoming someone you're proud to be while creating a life that reflects your deepest values.
Perhaps the most important measurement isn't how far you've climbed.
It's whether you're climbing the mountain that was meant for you.
You’re already having the conversations.
The only question is:
Why aren’t they turning into revenue?
Until you fix that, nothing scales.
