WBN's new Trust Center puts every policy, standard, and commitment that governs how we work — publicly available, in plain language, in one place.

  • WBN News Corp has launched the WBN Trust Centre™ — a public governance portal at wbnnewscorp.com/trust-centre
  • It covers 12 live governance documents across 8 domains: ethics, editorial, AI, privacy, security, legal, community, and accessibility
  • Every policy that governs what we publish, how we use AI, how we protect your data, and how we handle commercial relationships is now findable in one place
  • It applies across all WBN sites — including Surrey City News, Delta City News, Langley City News, Vancouver City News, WBN Africa News, and Brainnovation News
  • It's a living portal — updated as we grow, with every change logged and dated

Why This Matters To You

You deserve to know how the news organization you read operates. The WBN Trust Center is our answer to that — a single, public, searchable portal where every commitment we've made about how we work is available to anyone who wants to look.

If you've ever wondered how WBN decides what to publish, how our AI systems are governed, what we do with your data, or what happens when we make a mistake — the Trust Centre is where you go to find out. No digging. No legal language is designed to obscure. Just straight answers.

What It Is

The WBN Trust Centre™ (v2.0) launched on June 27, 2026. It is WBN News Corp's authoritative public governance portal — the single location where every policy, standard, and commitment that governs our operations is published and maintained.

It covers so far 12 live governance documents organized into eight domains:

  • Ethics & Integrity — our founding ethical framework, including our World Ethics Organization Media Partner commitment
  • Editorial Standards — accuracy, fairness, independence, corrections, and how AI-assisted journalism works
  • AI Governance — how we develop, deploy, and oversee artificial intelligence across all platforms
  • Privacy & Data — how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, aligned with Canadian (PIPEDA), European (GDPR), and US frameworks
  • Security & Infrastructure — how we protect our systems and the information entrusted to us
  • Legal & Agreements — terms of use, copyright and intellectual property, subscriber agreements
  • Community & Participation — standards for comments, contributors, and all community features
  • Accessibility & Inclusion — our commitment to making WBN platforms usable by the widest possible audience

Every document carries a version number, an effective date, and a last-updated timestamp. Nothing is silently changed — every revision is logged in the Governance Updates section, and previous versions are available on request.

Who Benefits — And How

If you're a reader or subscriber: You can now see exactly how your data is handled, what editorial standards govern the journalism you read, and what rights you have. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Subscriber Agreement are written for people, not lawyers. If something isn't clear, contact privacy@wbnn.news and a real person will respond.

If you contribute content to WBN: The Editorial Standards document and the Copyright & IP Policy set out in plain terms what standards your work is held to, who owns what, and how source protection works. These apply equally across all WBN platforms.

If you're an advertiser or commercial partner: in editorial and commercial relationships, explicit and public.

If you're a regulator, researcher, or journalist covering WBN: The full governance framework — including the Policy Lifecycle document, the AI Governance domain, and the World Ethics Organization alignment — is publicly available in a single authoritative location.

If you're a member of any WBN community, the Community Guidelines set out what's expected of everyone, how moderation works, and how to appeal a decision. The four-level consequence framework is transparent — you can read it before you ever need it.
