Money has an interesting way of exposing the truth.

Start by looking at your net worth.

Is it growing year after year, or has it been standing still? You don't need to become obsessed with the number, but you should pay attention to the direction. Progress, even if it's gradual, matters more than perfection.

Next, examine your cash flow.

Are you consistently spending less than you earn? Could you navigate an unexpected challenge without creating financial chaos? A healthy emergency fund isn't just about money in the bank. It's about buying yourself peace of mind when life inevitably throws a curveball.

Then ask yourself whether your money is working as hard as you are.

Whether you own a business, invest, or simply save consistently, your resources should be creating opportunities for future growth. Financial success isn't measured by how much you earn. It's measured by how effectively you steward what you've already been given.

Finally, consider what your money allows you to experience.

Can you enjoy time with family, travel, support causes you believe in, or pursue interests that make life richer? Wealth is most valuable when it creates choices—not when it creates pressure to maintain appearances.

Financial success is not about collecting expensive possessions.

It's about building the freedom to make decisions based on purpose instead of panic.

Money makes a terrible master.

But it can be an excellent scorecard.

Not because it tells you who you are.

Because it helps you measure whether you're building the life you truly want.
